Hello everyone. It’s me, Jorel, and I’m here to take you on a tour of the arts. Bailey Day’s art, that is!
I hope everyone had a good Halloween! But just when it feels like the holiday was getting into full swing, Halloween ends and November begins. Don’t worry though; Bailey Day didn’t just spend her October waiting around for the big day. She’s been writing her brains out and editing her work like a madwoman! She’s also been drawing fervently every day for Inktober. She never missed a day either, which is pretty impressive. I thought we would take a look back at all 31 of her pictures, admire them, reflect on them, be jealous of Bailey Day’s amazing talent, and all that stuff. And if you missed out on Bailey Day’s Facebook posts about Inktober, this is the perfect place to get yourself up to speed. I’ll meet you on the other side.
Hey! So how was it? Which drawing was your favorite? Does this make you want to do Inktober next year too?
And even though Inktober is over, there is no rest for Bailey Day. Just like the cycle of months, a new challenge begins as soon as the other ends. November is National Novel Writing Month, or NaNoWriMo. Bailey Day will challenge herself to write an entire novel throughout the 30 days of November. This will be the 6th year that she has participated, so she knows the ins and outs of the trade pretty well. She’s already announced her novel on the NaNoWriMo website and can’t wait to get started on it! It’s free to sign up if any of you want to write a novel yourself. Good luck, Bailey Day! Write a bestseller!
That’s it for today. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go shove cake in my face.
Stay healthy, everyone. Jorel signing out.
